Hello my beautiful friends. We are taking a break from all the swatches, because today is a very special post, which I always look forward to every single month. My friends from Paint All The Nails are gathering up for another nail art challenge and this month’s theme was Animal Print! I was quite excited about this theme, because it’s very broad and allows for a lot of creativity. Besides that, I feel like it’s very fitting for summer. I decided to make some bright neon leopard nails, let’s take a look!
I am actually not a big fan of leopard prints when it comes to clothing, but I LOVE them on nails! They are simple and fast to make and always look so cool (and you simple can’t go wrong with this design). For this nail art, I decided to combine neutrals with a bright pop of neon and that’s how my neon leopard nails came to life!
I started off by making a gradient with a nude and bright orange. I used my lovely China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and my favorite nude Powder Perfect Recollection. It was difficult to pair a perfect nude with this bright orange neon, but I think I did a pretty good job and they look good together and complement each other. I sponged the colors, until I had a seamless gradient and then painted the leopard print with a black acrylic paint. I kept my ring finger very simple and painted it black with LVX Livid and popped a triangular stud from the Born Pretty Store.
